Why 6061-T6 Aluminum?

Every single RRT Forged wheel starts its life as a solid block of aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. This specific alloy is chosen for its incredible strength-to-weight ratio. By starting with a solid forging and machining away only what is necessary, we maintain the structural integrity of the metal grain, resulting in a wheel that is both immensely strong and impressively light.
